International Affairs Office of Engineering threw a reception party on Friday, November 9 for the new international students.
\nAround 100 students from the three different engineering-related faculties (Faculty, Graduate School and School of Engineering<\/a>\/ Chemical Sciences & Engineering<\/a>\/ Information Science & Technology<\/a>) participated and enjoyed the varieties of foods including sushi and halal dish. Their supervisors and some Deans also participated in this party.
\nNot only savory dishes, participants enjoyed Karaoke.
\nOur annual event “Bingo game” made the students even more excited. First three participants who won the game were given special prizes(Ceramic fan heater, Movie tickets, and Hokudai tumbler)
\nand first other 40 students also received small prizes. We hope this event helped all the participants make new friends!<\/p>\n
