The period indicated below is national holidays in Japan (called \u201cGolden Week\u201d), therefore IAOE and NTA are not opened during the period.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Please note that we will not be able to contact or respond to you in any way during this period.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u3010closed period of IAOE(International Affairs Office of Engineering)\u3011<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>April 29<sup>th<\/sup>, 2022 (Fri.) \uff5e May 8<sup>th<\/sup>, 2022 (Sun.)\u3000<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During this period above, we, IAOE, and NTA is also closed, and please note that we are not able to respond to all e-mails as well during the period. On Monday, May 2<sup>nd<\/sup> and Friday, May 6<sup>th<\/sup>, we will only respond to e-mails which are manageable for IAOE, since NTA is completely closed during the period.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that we, IAOE will not coordinate flights and accommodations.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u3010closed period of NTA (Nippon Travel Agency)\u3011<\/strong>*Reference information: details directly from NTA.<\/p>\n<p><strong>April 29<sup>th<\/sup>, 2022 (Fri.) \uff5e May 8<sup>th<\/sup>, 2022 (Sun.)\u3000<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During the period above, NTA will be closed for all correspondence, airline ticket reservations, and hotel reservations and all coordination.<\/p>\n<p>Responses to emails we received after April 28<sup>th<\/sup> (Thu.) will not be returned until May 9<sup>th<\/sup> (Mon.) or later.<\/p>\n<p>For students who will arrive in Japan during this period, please contact emergency contact information which is listed in the &#8220;Arrival Information&#8221; in case of your emergency.*For further information, confirm directly with the NTA.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>\u3010Important\u3011<\/strong>*Please make sure to read.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For students who have not started communicating with NTA:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students who are not currently communicating with NTA should not proceed with flight ticket arrangements on their own without NTA&#8217;s permission, as communication with NTA will not begin until May 9<sup>th<\/sup>, when the national holidays end. Please be sure to proceed after receiving instructions from NTA to arrange flight tickets.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For students who have already started communicating with NTA:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For students who have already begun communicating with NTA, you will be contacted directly by NTA and should communicate directly with NTA. Please do not inquire with IAOE as adjustments are not made by us. In addition, please do not purchase airline tickets without coordination and instructions from NTA, as NTA contact will not be available during this period. If you have any questions or need confirmation, please contact the NTA directly by the 28th.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For students planning to enter Japan by self-arrangement without NTA(Excluding students who have informed the IAOE of their itinerary in advance.):<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If possible, please refrain from traveling to Japan during this period (since we can\u2019t help you during this period in case of your emergency).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For students entering Japan during this period<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you enter Japan during this period, necessary documents should be submitted in advance, either on April 28<sup>th<\/sup> or on May 2<sup>nd<\/sup>. (We, IAOE is not available during holidays.)<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In the situation of a sudden flight change, contact NTA using the emergency contact information on the &#8220;Arrival Information&#8221; issued by NTA. After that, please follow the instructions from NTA.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>If your PCR test result is positive in quarantine at the time of entry into Japan, you need to cancel your hotel room. To do that, please contact the emergency contact information of NTA by e-mail as above.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>If your PCR test result is positive at the hotel where you will stay after entering Japan, the NTA will contact HU. However, sending emails to NTA representative for the information of flights, accommodations, and waiting period matters is fine.
