The delegation members from Dalian University of Technology were welcomed by the Faculty of Engineering, Hokkaido University on Friday, June 28. Prof. Luo Zhongxuan (President Assistant), Prof. Cong Fengyu (Director, International Office), Prof. Li Jingmin (Vice Dean, School of Mechanical Engineering), Prof. Lei Na (Director, DUT-RU International School of Information Science and Engineering) and Ms. Qu Yuan (Head, International Office) visited our campus to discuss future collaboration.
Prof. Tsuyoshi Setoguchi(Dean, Faculty of Engineering), Prof. Kazuhisa Sueoka(Vice Dean, Faculty of Information Science and Technology), Prof. Masahiro Todoh and Prof. Taichiro Okazaki joined the discussion.
After the courtesy visit, the group visited Laboratory of Biomechanical Design. They looked experimental equipment of the laboratory with great interest.
DUT is a university established in 1949. Around 42,000 students study on the campus including a large number of international students. HU and DUT signed University-level exchange agreement in January 2010.
