The delegation members from Xiamen University(XMU) were welcomed by the Faculty of Engineering, Hokkaido University on Thursday, November 14. Prof. Zhang Rong (President), Prof. Peng Dongliang (Dean, Collage of Materials), Prof. Kang Junyong (College of Physical Science and Technology) and 3 administrators visited our campus to discuss future collaboration.
Prof. Tsuyoshi Setoguchi (Dean, Faculty of Engineering), Prof. Tamotsu Kozaki (Vice Dean, Faculty of Engineering), Prof. Katsunori Nagano (Director, International Exchange Office) joined the discussion.
After the courtesy visit, the group went to a campus tour.
XMU is a university established in 1921. Around 40,000 students study on the campus including a large number of international students. HU and XMU signed the University-level exchange agreement in November 2010.
