The presentation ceremony of masks donated by Dalian University of Technology(DUT), an exchange partner university, was held at Consulate-General of The People’s Republic of China in Sapporo on Monday, April 20.
Prof. Tsuyoshi Setoguchi, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Prof. So Kawanobe, Deputy Director, Institute for International Collaboration attended.
This is an offer from DUT-Ritsumeikan University International School of Information Science and Engineering for donation of 5,000 masks to HU and 5,000 masks to the Faculty of Engineering.
We received a message from Consul General Son about the gratitude for the acceptance and support of Chinese students and they would like to work together to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
With the gratitude for the donation of masks, Dean Setoguchi announced that the university exchange day with DUT, which was scheduled for March this year, but cancelled, will be held in cooperation with both universities after the infection has settled.
