The delegation members from Incheon National University (INU) were welcomed by the Faculty of Engineering, Hokkaido University on Monday, December 19. Prof. Seo Jong-Goo (Dean of the Urban Science College), Prof. Park Sung-Jin (Dept. Head of Urban Construction Engineering), Ahn Jung-kyu (Dept. Head of Construction and Environmental Engineering), Assoc. Prof. Lee Dong-Woo, Assoc. Prof. Woo Sang-Inn and administrator visited our campus to discuss educational and research exchanges.
Prof. Tsuyoshi Setoguchi (Dean of the Graduate School of Engineering), Prof. Taichiro Okazaki (Director, International Exchange Office), Prof. Toru Hagiwara (Agreement Contact Faculty) and Prof. Motohiro Sato who interact with INU joined the discussion.
After the courtesy visit, the group including PhD students, held seminars to present and discuss their work with one another.
INU is a university established in 1979. Around 14,000 students study on the campus including a large number of international students. HU and INU signed Faculty/Dep.-level agreement in 2011 and University-level exchange agreement in 2012.
