A delegation from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech) were welcomed by Professor HABAZAKI Hiroki (Dean, Faculty of Engineering), Professor TADANAGA Kiyoharu (Dean, Graduate School of Chemical Sciences and Engineering), Professor TABE Yutaka (Director, International Exchange Office), Professor SATO Toshifumi and other faculty members on Friday, July 12, 2024. Professor CHERN Ming-Jyh (Dean, College of Engineering), Professor YU Chin-Yang, Associate Professor CHEN Pei-Ching, Associate Professor CHIU Yu-Cheng, Assistant Professor LO Chen-Tsyr and Ms. JHOU Ying-Hui (Secretary) visited our campus to discuss future exchanges between the two institutions.

Established with the foundation of the National Taiwan Institute of Technology in 1974, the College of Engineering belongs to the core structure of Taiwan Tech. The College is the largest academic unit with over 3,500 students and 140 faculty members. It offers unique programs such as the International Advanced Technology Program (an all-English-taught interdisciplinary undergraduate program), reflecting its continuous efforts of internationalizing its student body and faculty.

In 2019, the Taiwan Tech College of Engineering and the HU Faculty of Engineering concluded a departmental exchange agreement; however, active exchanges had been suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Some exchange activities have been planned for this year, with more expected in the coming years.
