Professor Sudarshan Kumar (Dean, International Relations), Professor P. Seshu (IITB-Japan Collaboration Cell), Professor Ramaswamy Murugavel (Department Chemistry) and three other delegates from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) were welcomed by Professor HABAZAKI Hiroki (Dean, Faculty of Engineering), Professor IZUMI Norihiro (Dean, Graduate School of Engineering), Professor OKAZAKI Taichiro (Vice Dean, Graduate School of Engineering), and Professor OTAKE Tsubasa (Director, International Exchange Office) on Monday, May 11, 2026. The IIT Bombay delegation visited our campus to seek future opportunities for researcher and student exchanges based on the university-level exchange agreement entered in 2018.
Established in 1958 as the second Indian Institute of Technology in India, IIT Bombay comprises 81 divisions, including 17 academic departments and 26 academic and research centers. Through two specialized divisions, the Desai Sethi School of Entrepreneurship (DSSE) and the Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SINE), the institute has established an entrepreneurial ecosystem for its student community. These initiatives are designed to support emerging startups and facilitate the development of entrepreneurs, innovators, and business leaders.
