International Affairs Office of Engineering threw a reception party on Friday, November 10 for the new international students.
125 students from the three different engineering-related faculties (Faculty, Graduate School and School of Engineering/ Chemical Sciences & Engineering/ Information Science & Technology) participated and enjoyed the varieties of foods including sushi and halal dish. Their supervisors and some Deans also participated in this party.
Not only savory dishes, participants enjoyed live music played by the band called “Asterism”.

Our annual event “Bingo game” made the students even more excited. First three participants who won the game were given special prizes(electric griddle, JR Tower observatory tickets, and Hokudai T-shirt)
) and first other 40 students also received small prizes. We hope this event helped all the participants make new friends!
