Assoc. Prof. Ali Awaludin and Asst. Prof. Intan Suprada from Gadjah Mada University visited the Faculty of Engineering, Hokkaido University on Wednesday April 10. During the visit, the delegation members discussed student exchange and reserach collaboration especially in the filed of Civil engineering. They were welcomed by Prof. Norihiro Izumi (Vice Dean of Graduate School of Engineering), Prof. Shunji Kanie and Assoc. Prof. Tomohito Yamada.
Gadjah Mada University is a public university established in 1949. Around 55,000 students study on the campus including a large number of international students. Hokkaido University and Gadjah Mada University signed an exchange agreement in July 2010.
