Prof. Zhiqiang Liu and Ms. Sijia Liu from Harbin Engineering University (HEU) were welcomed by Prof. Naoyuki Hashimoto (Deputy Director of International Exchange Office) on Wednesday June 12. They held active discussions focused on student exchange. One exchange student from HEU also attended the meeting.
HEU is a public university established in 1953. Around 28,000 students study on the campus including a large number of international stduents. Hokkaido University and HEU signed faculty/dep.-level exchange agreements in August 2008.
