A Visit from University of Technology Sydney

Prof. Eryk Dutkiewicz, Head of the School of Electrical and Data Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology from University of Technology Sydney (UTS) was welcomed by Prof. Tsuyoshi Setoguchi (Dean of the Graduate School of Engineering), Prof. Taichiro Okazaki (Director, International Exchange Office) and Assoc. Prof. Takanori Emaru, who has research collaborations with UTS professor on Tuesday, October 11. They held active discussions focused on the expansion of collaboration research.

The evening before, a formal dinner was held with the Dean of the Faculty of Information Science and Technology.

UTS was established in 1988. Around 45,000 students study on the campus including a large number of international students. HU and UTS signed faculty/dep.-level exchange agreement in 2016. Additionally, Faculty Key Technology Partnership Agreement was signed between the Faculty of Engineering at HU and the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at UTS.
