Mr. Aidos Zhankeyev, executive director and Prof. Fidelis Suorineni of the School of Mining and Geosciences from Nazarbayev University (NU) were welcomed by Prof. Tsuyoshi Setoguchi (Dean of the Graduate School of Engineering), Prof. Naoki Hiroyoshi (Deputy Director, Division of Cooperative Program for Resources Engineering) on Thursday, December 8. Also accompanying the group was Dr. Ikeda, assistant professor at Akita University, which has an agreement with NU. They held active discussions focused on the collaboration research and signing of the agreement.
NU is the first university in Kazakhstan and was established in 2010. Around 6,400 students study on the campus including international students.
