The delegation members from Kyung Hee University (from now on referred to as KHU) were welcomed by Professor HABAZAKI Hiroki (Dean, Faculty of Engineering), Professor TABE Yutaka (Director、International Exchange Office)、and Professor OHASHI Toshiro on Tuesday, October 17. Dr. KIM Yoon Hyuk (Dean, Research Affairs), and Mr. KIM Dong Joon (Director, Strategic Planning Team, Office of Planning and Coordination) from KHU visited our campus to discuss future student exchange between the two universities.

KHU was founded as the Sung Jae System based on the Bae Young Educational Institute in 1949 and the 2-year Junior College was authorized in the same year. It was promoted to a 4-year college in 1952, and then it was authorized to establish a graduate school in 1954. The college was elevated to university status in 1955 and it was renamed Kyung Hee University in 1960. Thus, they were steadily accumulating history and have been conducting exchange programs with various overseas universities in recent years.
