*For international students at the University, if the ISOLATION field is set to “3days at home”, they will be waiting at a hotel arranged by the NTA (refer to Category 2).

Students whose classification is blue will no longer be required to quarantine at the hotel from June 1.

For students in the yellow category who do not have a vaccine certificate, there will be no change in NTA arrangements (The quarantine period cannot be shortened.).

For students in the blue category, please read the following and contact NTA to follow the necessary procedures.

【Contact Request】

Please contact NTA directly from the student. After that, please be sure to let me know what kind of request you made.

To students in the blue category who will enter Japan on or after June 1

Hotel quarantine will no longer be required from June 1, so students are requested to contact NTA directly to cancel their hotel reservations.

Please contact NTA as soon as possible because the cancellation fee will be charged after 7 days prior to the stay.

<Hotel cancellation fee>

Mystays Premier Narita:

7-2 days prior to arrival: 880 yen, day before arrival: 4,400 yen, day of arrival: 25,840 yen

International Garden Hotel Narita:

7-3 days prior to arrival: 4,150 yen, 2-1 day prior to arrival: 6,640 yen, on the day of arrival: 25,340 yen.

To students in the blue category who will enter Japan by May 31

Please take one of the following actions 1 or 2.

○Action 1.

If it is possible to change the flight to June 1 or later, change the flight. Also, cancel the hotel.

*In this case, the above-mentioned hotel cancellation fee will be charged, but it is the least expensive.

○Action 2.

If flight change is not possible, or if the flight cancellation fee is too expensive, enter Japan at the end of May as planned and stay at the hotel until May 31.

In this case, the package fee for 6 nights and 7 days will be charged. However, the university will provide partial support for hotel expenses after June 1.

(Amount of travel support from the university: number of days stayed after June 1 x approx. 3,333 yen)

You may stay for 7 days or check out early on June 1, but there is no difference in the amount you pay and the amount of travel support you receive.

All procedures must be done by yourself.

I understand that this is a difficult change at short notice, but I would appreciate your cooperation.
