The delegation members from University of Science and Technology Beijing (hereinafter referred to as USTB) were welcomed by Professor HABAZAKI Hiroki (Dean, Faculty of Engineering) and Associate Professor ISOBE Shigehito (Advanced Materials Laboratory) on Tuesday, August 28. Ms. ZHANG Qiuman (Associate Professor/Secretary of the Party Committee, School of Materials Science and Engineering), Mr. CHE Kunpeng (Administrative Assistant, School of Materials Science and Engineering), Mr. OUNUKI Somei (Visiting Professor), and 19 undergraduate students visited our campus as a part of the students’ summer school in Hokkaido. The staff at the International Affairs Office of Engineering and e3 (English Engineering Education Program) explained the overview of the Faculty, Graduate School, School of Engineering, and e3, and then the representative of the students from USTB gave us brief introduction about the School of Materials Science and Engineering, USTB. The delegation members enjoyed campus tour including visiting laboratories and the University Museum.
