The delegation members from ETH Zürich (ETHZ) were welcomed by the Faculty of Engineering, Hokkaido University on Wednesday, March 8. HU Ambassadors, Prof. Erich J. Windhab, Senior Researcher Dr. Yasushi Takeda, and three doctoral students visited our campus to discuss research exchanges. Prof. Tsuyoshi Setoguchi, Dean of the Graduate School of Engineering, and Prof. Yuichi Murai who interacts with ETHZ joined the discussion.
Yesterday they also made a courtesy visit to the President of HU.

This year marks the 10th academic exchange and cooperative research symposium between ETHZ and HU, held alternately since 2009. Click here for program details.

ETHZ is a university established in 1855. Around 25,000 students study on the campus including a large number of international students. We signed the University-level exchange agreement in 2007. ETHZ is a world-class university and the most popular exchange destinations for engineering students at HU.
