Doctoral course Mid Term evaluations calendar Winter 2018-19

Doctoral students are required to undergo mid-term evaluations towards the end of first and second year of their program. Now is a period for evaluation for the D1 and D2 students enrolled in April. Evaluation presentations are public so please join some of the presentations to learn from your seniors. Schedule is updated regularly.

For students who are considering career in Japan or industrial career and especially those who are not yet considering it. E3 has a tradition to invite alumni working in Japan to share their job hunting experience, motivation to work in Japan, tell about Japanese business culture.

Winter/Autumn Semester 2018-19 Grades confirmation period (including grades appeals)

Please confirm the grades for the Specialized Subjects of Graduate School of Engineering through the ELMS system during the follwoing periods:

Master degree program 2nd year, Doctoral degree program 3rd year	February 8th(Fri) 13:00 - February 14th(Thu) 17:00	Bi-lingual announcement (pdf)
Other graduate students	April 1st (Mon) – April 5th(Fri) 17:00	Bi-lingual announcement (pdf)

e3Welcome Trip 2018 Fall

Only with e3 crew can we finish visiting these three wonderful spots within only one day, though we rushed to the ship for the Nakajima.

It is my second year in Hokkaido University, while it is my first time to join the e3 welcome trip. Now, I feel regretful missing the past ones.

Aiming at the foot hot spring, our first stop was Noboribetsu where the hot springs (Onsen) and smelly sulfur are famous. It took us a while to arrive at the spring, on the way to which we took plenty of pictures as the memory of Autumn. Some students had a little bit of beers while enjoying the foot hot springs. Guess how Autumn it was.

2018 e3 Field Trip Report

August 24^th, 2018

One Monday evening I was watching sunset at a place called “northernmost point in Japan”, at the very north part of Wakkanai area with a feeling of accomplishment. After many years in Japan, I finally I reached this very far away point! Thanks to the e3 group I could strike out another item on my bucket list of places I want to visit in my life.
