Application guidelines for the e3 Special selection for April 2027 enrollment have been published.
e3 Students who plan to enroll in the e3 doctoral course in April 2027 are required to apply for the e3 Special Selection during this application period.
Please check the website below and be sure to apply through the e3 Online Submission System.

On June 28, 2026, the e3 Students’ Organization (SO) organized a hiking trip to Mt. Maruyama, bringing together 14 international students, two staff members, and a guide.
Mt. Maruyama is a familiar and beloved landmark for Sapporo residents, attracting many people year-round as an easy and accessible place to experience Hokkaido’s natural beauty. We set off for the summit, chatting with friends and stopping along the way to take photos of the surrounding scenery, and reached the top in about an hour.

On the last weekend of May, the e³ Students' Organization hosted a BBQ party in the middle of Hokudai, bringing people together and providing an opportunity to relax as the weather in Sapporo finally became warm enough to enjoy outdoor activities.

Doctoral students are required to undergo mid-term evaluations towards the end of first and second year of their program. Now is a period for evaluation for the D1 and D2 students enrolled in October. Evaluation presentations are public, so please join some of the presentations if you want to learn from your seniors.
