(Please make sure to register for both spring and summer term courses and full semester courses.)

  • Secondary Field of Study Registration/Change 

- Please check the announcement sent from the Academic Affairs Office of the Graduate School of Engineering for details. The announcement is usually sent in November for students enrolled in October, and in May for students enrolled in April.

- This procedure is for master's course students of Graduate School of Engineering EXCEPT for the Division of Cooperative Program for Resources Engineering.

  • Grade Confirmation 

Please check the grades by yourself through the ELMS during the "grades confirmation period" for each semester.

  • To register for courses, you need your ELMS ID and Password. Please log in from the following page during the registration period.

- For new students: ELMS ID and Password will be distributed at the beginning of the semester of your enrollment.

- For current students: If you have forgotten your ELMS ID and Password, please go to window #5, 1st floor, Institute of the Advancement of Higher Education, with your student ID.

*Please make sure to consult with your supervisor(s) about course registration. If there is no class you are going to register for this semester, you have to inform your supervisor(s) that you are not taking any courses.

  • Credit transfer for Master's course students

If the designated requirements are met, a certain number of credits can be transferred to the primary field of study (for students other than CPRE) / the specialized elective compulsory subjects (students for Cooperative Program for Resources Engineering).

To transfer credits, students first need to obtain permission from their supervisor(s) and then send a form to Academic Affairs Section (k-gakuin[at]eng.hokudai.ac.jp] by email.
