AY2025 SO Activities and the 2026 Leadership Handover

On February 19th, a handover meeting was held between the 2025 and 2026 SO members.

Throughout AY2025, the SO organized a variety of meaningful events—from a BBQ party and Game Night to a Hanami party.
During the field trips co‑hosted with the e3 Program Office, participants explored Ainu culture and experienced Zazen meditation.
These events greatly expanded the circle of friendship among e3 students.

And now, the new members already seem to be planning a range of exciting events.
No two years are ever the same, so get actively involved in activities hosted by the SO and make the most of the next academic year!

e3 Orientation for New International Students 2025 Oct

On September 29th, the e3 Program Office and e3 Student Organization (SO) members held an orientation and a welcome party for newly enrolled e3 students. A total of 30 students joined e3 program in October 2025.

During the orientation, e3 staff explained the course registration and necessary daily procedures, and SO members provided guidance on life in Sapporo and tips for school life.

Afterwards, everyone gave brief self-introductions and talked in groups.

e3 students are coming from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds, but they have gradually opened up to each other as fellow newcomers beginning their studies at Hokkaido University. 

We hope these encounters will make their future life at Hokkaido University smoother and more fulfilling. All professors, staff members, and friends will support the journey of all e3 students to become internationally competitive engineers!
