Accepting applications for MEXT e3 scholarship October 2016 intake
Every year our program offers a number of competitive full-support scholarships funded by Japanese Government (MEXT e3 scholarship) to Master's and Doctoral applicants from abroad.
Application deadline for October 2016 intake is November 15, 2015.
Please note that new research proposal format was introduced for MEXT e3 applicants.
Scholarship conditions, as of April 2015 (Details: Scholarships and Support: apply before arrival)
Duration: 2 years for Master's and 3 years for Doctoral program
Extension from Master's to Phd: possible on competitive basis
Amount of the scholarship: 145,000JPY/month for Phd and 144,000JPY/month for Masters,
additional 3000JPY is paid during the winter semester
Application fee: exempted
Tuition fees: exempted for the period of the scholarship
Arrival ticket: paid (from nearest to the place of residence international airport to international airport in Japan)
Return ticket: provided
*This scholarship has age restriction (35 years).
